THE WILL OF GOD IS WHERE YOUR SECURITY IS

The will of God is where your security is.

We struggle sometimes with what God tells us because we are so invested in our personal desires already. But if we are going to fulfill what He has planned for us and sent us to do, our utmost desire must be to remain in His will per time.

And I can tell you for free that the times when I decided to do what I thought was 'best' , it ended in premium tears🤣. (It was not funny then sha😩.) 

I'm sure you can also remember instances when you decided to go with what you thought was 'best' and ignored what God was pointing you to. How did that go?😅

So again, the will of God is where our security is. See what Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) says👇

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

To decide to stay in God's will is pure Wisdom because as we seek for His direction in all that we do, He shows us the right path to take.

God acts with our best interests at heart. Everything He tells us to do or NOT to do, is so that His plans for us can be fulfilled. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Instead of following our own desires, we must run back to Him and trust Him that our utmost desire will be to remain in His will.

I left the examination hall that afternoon with so much anxiety. I just hoped that everything would eventually turn out fine. The aggregate score of each candidate for the examination would be sent via a text message the next morning.  Those who knew me well, understood that I never joked with having a good sleep. But this time, I kept rolling from one end of the bed to the other as it was quite difficult for me to sleep. All that went through my head were thoughts of what I would score in the examination.  At exactly 7am, my phone vibrated as it would when a text message was delivered.
