ACCEPTANCE: OPENING UP YOURSELF TO GOD'S HELP

I shared on my WhatsApp status yesterday that a lot of us struggle with a lot of things because we have refused to acknowledge or come to that point of accepting what is actually on ground.

What do I mean?

I believe that the first step in overcoming or gaining victory over certain things or conditions is ACCEPTANCE.

That is, you have to acknowledge that such thing is present. Do not fake it.

For example, if someone really hurt you, the first step to forgiving such person is accepting that you are hurt. Or that you feel bitter or resentful.

Acknowledge the fact that you are hurt by what they said or did.

It's easy to pretend, and say 'you are fine'.

But don't hide your true feelings under that canopy.

It's the same thing with having certain complexes and biases about certain things.

Let's take inferiority complex as an example.

If you want to deal with it, you have to accept the fact that it is present.

You have to stop hiding under the canopy that you are 'being humble', when in reality you are feeling inferior.

It is after acknowledging that it is something you struggle with that you truly begin to find ways to overcome it.

Whatever it is, do not pretend that it is not there when you know it is.

Stop covering it up and continue to think that you will get better.

I know coming to that point of accepting that you need to deal with it or you need help with it could be harrrdddd!

But you know what?

If you do not deal with it from the root, no matter how much you cover it up, it will still remain there.

Our greatest deliverance begins the moment we face it, and open up ourselves to God's help.

With soooo much love,

Mhoyeen. 2021.

P.S- I should talk about inferiority complex some other time. What do you think causes it?

Can we really overcome that feeling of inferiority totally?

I invite you today to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, if you have not. He loves you. And he wants you to radiate beauty and fulfill purpose. All you have to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that God raised him from the dead to give you eternal life. Say this with me.

"Lord Jesus, I come before you today. I believe and confess that you died for me and rose again to give me eternal life. Thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for forgiving my sin. Thank you for saving me. I am born again. I am saved. I am a child of God in Jesus name, Amen."

If you said this short prayer, congratulations! You are a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Please send me a message. I will be glad to talk and pray with you.😊

  3. Ma what if the person picks up a fight if you try to tell him/ her about the wrong doing or feels it no big deal and you're not expected to be angry about it
Secondly if the person doesn't give room at all or the person is elderly and not approachable.
Inferiority is something I actually fought with growing up and still healing
