CELEBRATE YOUR LITTLE WINS
You will constantly feel like you are not doing anything with your life if you do not learn to intentionally acknowledge your small wins.
What do I mean?
You don't need to wait till you achieve a milestone before you appreciate yourself.
As long as you commit to adding value to yourself and to others continuously, every little step that you take is important.
These things do not have to be 'big' all the time.
See, all of these things matter. Stop treating them as minute. All of the seemingly little steps you take to constantly improve yourself is all part of the process in attaining greater things.
I was reading LUSTRE, an e-book on personal branding released by Emmanuel Faith a few weeks ago. (By the way, if you don't know Emmanuel Faith, check him out on LinkedIn or Instagram.)
In one of the chapters, he talked about having a BRAG SHEET. A place where you document your achievements. It could be a journal, notebook, or any material that works for you.
If you have not been doing this, you should start it. You will be surprised at all the amazing stuff you've done. It's just because you have not been documenting them! Write them down. Don't keep it in your head.
Pause and reflect on all the things that you have done that has aided your development in one way or the other.
That little task that you eventually got done even when you didn't feel like it is a WIN. Executing your plan to study for 30 minutes daily is a WIN. The course(s) you completed, the training you attended, the online class you organized. And many many many other things!
Guys! We all get to that point where we begin to doubt our abilities and feel that we are not doing well. Majorly because of certain challenges we face and many other factors.
Acknowledging your little wins reminds you of how awesome you are! It helps you appreciate the process when you eventually hit that milestone!
Learn to celebrate your small wins. Note, I said LEARN. So don't feel bad if it takes a while for you to adapt to this. We are all learning...
I am grateful for YOU, and all the beautiful, mind blowing things you are set to fulfill and accomplish on this purpose journey.
